McLaren Women’s Health Pavillion- Internal Medicine Renovations

The McLaren Women’s Health Pavilion – Internal Medicine just completed a beautiful, 8,000 square-foot interior renovation at their facility located at 1900 Columbus Ave Bay City, MI 48706. McLaren Internal Medicine specializes in the health care and treatment of adults. An internal medicine physician is trained in the careful application of scientific and clinical expertise to provide better outcomes for the adult patient in the Great Lakes Bay Region. The interior remodel included updated finishes comprised of removing wallpaper, patching drywall, painting walls, new flooring and base throughout, new carpet and welded sheet vinyl, new casework and cabinetry, new custom countertops and updated electrical throughout. In addition to updating the finishes, the renovation included removal of walls and installing new, as a remodel to their layout. This healthcare renovation was needed within a quick timeline- with construction beginning in early June 2024 and completing at the end of July 2024- the project was delivered on time and on budget in a General Contracting delivery method. A unique outlier to this project is the upgrades made to their HVAC System- the unit required to complete the upgrade had a long-lead time of 20 weeks, so temporary upgrades and modifications were made to the existing system to accommodate the space until the new unit is installed. The renovation has brought their facility up to date and is now a more welcoming and inviting space, with a more logical layout for their current needs and up-to-code healthcare and construction standards throughout their facility.
