President Joe Biden spoke after touring the SK Siltron CSS $300 million facility in Monitor Township. The plant, which opened on Sept. 1, manufactures a specialty wafer made of silicon carbide that can be used electric vehicles.

The new plant is part of the SK Group, South Korea's second-largest conglomerate, which plans to nearly quadruple its U.S. investments and assets to more than $50 billion by the end of 2025.

We are privileged to be a part of this growing project!

Our Projects

Serenus Johnson Construction has served the Great Lakes Bay Region and beyond for over 100 years as a commercial and industrial General Contractor. Our commercial clients are broad and include historical restoration, healthcare, retail, business office, educational, manufacturing and more. Β We take pride in the first rate services we provide our clients and the ability to manage numerous projects simultaneously.Β

As members of the Michigan Chapter of the Associated General Contractors since January 1, 1960 we have been involved with the many improvements made in the commercial/industrial construction industry over these years that serve both our clients and employees well.

Our close working relationship with the Carpenters 706 and Laborers 1098 labor unions provides beneficial strengths to our company that in turn benefits our customers.

” We covet the relationship we have built with you, and your work again over the past year, and especially over the summer, has reinforced how committed you are to continuing that relationship. On behalf of our board of education, employees and families of Bangor Township, please let all your workers know how appreciative we are of the work they have completed. We are blessed to have such professional and over-achieving experts partnering with us.”

–Matthew Schmidt, Bangor Township Schools, Superintendent

“Rescue Ministries greatly appreciates the many ways that Serenus Johnson Construction has assisted our ministry. There have been numerous projects in which you have consulted, designed and conducted projects of renovations for our facilities. We have found whether the project was large or small, we had your best effort of planning and construction and have always been completely satisfied with the final results. It is a great assurance to have a local company that has the capacity to meet our needs.”
