We are always thankful and proud of our relationship with Rescue Ministries of Mid-Michigan- this project has been a lot of fun to watch progress and hear new stories of how the mural is already touching lives in the Saginaw community.
Rescue Ministries of Mid-Michigan had the dream to improve their outdoor children’s play area by installing a building-sized mural overlooking the space and partnered with muralist, Brian Peterson. Serenus Johnson Construction had the privilege to self-perform the demolition of the existing glass block and the infill of the new brick to complete the wall. We had help from Murray Painting on priming the brick.
At the dedication ceremony, we were presented with a unique thank you- a picture of the mural, signed by the artist, Brian Peterson, (which you can see next time you stop into our office!)
