Serenus Johnson Construction partnered with United Financial Credit Union, a Michigan-based credit union all over the Great Lakes Bay Region, to open it’s Frankenlust branch in early 2021. The location can be found at the corner of Three Mile and M-84. Serenus Johnson performed the General Trades, concrete package and overall sight supervision on this project. Challenges faced with this project were related to delays caused by EGLE permitting, due to it’s proximity to wetlands, in the early stages of the project. There were also schedule impacts due to COVID-19 workforce delays, material delays and shortages. Despite the challenges, the branch was able to open for business on March 17, 2021 – two months ahead of schedule.
