MI Table resides in the former Crapo Building, built in 1891, has been the highlight of construction in Downtown Bay City. Serenus Johnson is proud to have the opportunity to renovate the space previously occupied by Chemical Bank, for a new, farm-to-table restaurant featuring Michigan fish, produce and game. The menu for the restaurant will change seasonally, based on what is agriculturally available throughout the Mitten.
Serenus Johnson performed as General Contractor and self-performed the drywall repairs, construction of 4-new bathrooms, walk-in cooler space and storage room for the restaurant. The aggressive schedule required a team who was committed and driven to meet the goals of the owner, and we came prepared with just that. Each team of subcontractors worked diligently each day to push the restaurant toward their opening date.
