
Monitor Township has contracted Serenus Johnson and WTA Architects to provide assessment and design for a new/renovated fire department.
The project will include:
-Apparatus Bay Addition: Pre-engineered metal building, cast in place concrete foundations for metal building columns, masonry foundation wall around perimeter, masonry foundation wall around perimeter, pre-engineered wall girt to resist wind-load from above grade masonry wall, sleeping area within space, north entrance vestibule & public lobby, corridor between North admin and existing building
-Plumbing- water closets, lavatories, sinks, service sinks, water coolers, floor drains, new water service piping, compressed air drops
-Heating, Ventilation and A/C Systems: Indoor AHU’s with hot water heat and DX cooing, exhaust fans in the apparatus room and janitor closets, office HVAC system with ducted supply, return & exhaust
-Electrical service- remove and replace electrical services on exterior, new diesel generator, electrical panel
-Lighting- LED vapor lighting with motion sensor controls in the wash-down bay, LED high bay lighting in the apparatus room, additional LED Surface mounted strip lighting and recessed LED down lights.
