A church renovation took place at River of Life Assembly in Tuscola, MI. River of Life hired Serenus Johnson Construction as their General Contractor to complete their exterior renovations. The biggest challenge faced on this project was contending with existing conditions and ensuring the team could safely complete the church renovation to accommodate their desired outcome. The church renovations included:

- Addition of an ADA compliant wheelchair ramp with new masonry and limestone caps
- New front-entrance steps
- Covered entrance for ramp and steps with new metal roofing
- In-concrete heating element for snow melt
- Installation of ADA operator for front door
- Updated siding
- Chimney rebuild with new cap
- Custom built cross made from reclaimed lumber
- Exterior lighting
- Gutters & down spouts
- This project was completed on schedule and on budget, with additional items added on from the original scope of work. For the design of this church renovation, we incorporated our conceptual design team to provide a rendering of the projected final project.
